Support Group Information
The His Way Ministry family meets once a week to share our experiences, strength, and hope in a safe environment. We encourage each other in our faith walk and in the natural walk of jobs, relationships, food, shelter, etc. Join us and receive a blessing each week as we share our faith walk in our group session that focuses on three basic spiritual disciplines: our HOLINESS (piety), FORMATION (study), and EVANGELIZATION (action). This is a time to encourage and to be encouraged.
We assemble weekly on Fridays at 7:00 PM. The location is at the Shield Ministry building at 5519 Woodbine Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. (See map below.)
His Way Ministry Opening Prayer
Father, we know that you created us and put us on this earth for a purpose. Jesus, we know that you died for us and call us to complete your work here on earth. Holy Spirit, we know that you help us to complete the work for which we were created and called. In Your Name and Presence, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we begin our work. We pray that all of our thoughts, discussions and actions will be guided by You, and, be directed to the fulfillment of Your will for us.
His Way Ministry Support Fellowship Preamble
"Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

Welcome to the His Way Ministry Support Fellowship. We are glad you are all here. We are a fellowship of men and women who share our experience, strength, and hope, with each other to learn, to encourage, and to be encouraged. We are here to help each other mature spiritually and naturally and to be good stewards of the time, talent, treasure, and temple of Holy Spirit that God has given us. The only requirement for participation is a desire to become a new person. There are no dues or fees; but we contribute as able.
His Way is allied only with our Lord and Savior. Our primary purpose is to celebrate a new life and help others to be happy, joyous, and free. Hopefully, each person will be given a chance to share based on the three areas of HOLINESS, FORMATION, and EVANGELIZATION and any other issues that may be encouraging or informative to this family. This is an open community and we are welcome to share anything that Holy Spirit leads us to say.
We ask that the following traditions be observed:
1) Identify yourself by name and a very brief statement of your relationship with God.
2) Only one person speaks at a time.
3) Speak primarily to the group, focusing on YOUR life. Avoid the finger-pointing pronoun ‘you.’ Use of
‘I’ is encouraged.
4) Limit sharing to a few minutes, so that all may have a chance to share.
5) Respect the confidentiality of each other. What is said here, stays here.
