His Way Ministry addresses the spiritual, physical, and mental needs of ex-offenders. The difficulty facing many ex-offenders is well documented. Many have trouble finding jobs, housing, and basic survival resources. Many have personal problems that compound the adjustment challenge: substance abuse, illiteracy, lack of social and employment skills, etc. This ministry believes that Christ's church on earth must arise and become more involved in post-prison ministry. This will be accomplished through the commitment, support, and hard work of those called to answer the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in their environments. Most prison inmates will eventually be released. We must be ready to share the love of Christ with them.
His WayMinistry is an interdenominational ministry (501 (3)(c)) of Baptists, Catholics, Episcopalians, Methodists, Pentecostals, Presbyterians, and others. We share the love of Christ among ourselves and want to share that love with others. His Way Ministry is cross cultural. We include everyone regardless of race, gender, or work/life status. Our volunteers consist of former inmates and those who have never been incarcerated. The leadership is composed of this same diversity. God has created this kingdom-minded ministry through no particular planning of its founders. He leads us and we follow.
